My Friend, the Reverse Medusa Cat

An FPS where you must defeat enemies without letting your friend, the Reverse Medusa Cat, turn you to stone!
This game was created for the 2020 Extra Credits Game Jam with the theme "Take Care". I used this as an opportunity to learn how to use Unreal Engine, and as a result the game didn't get to where I wanted it to be from a design perspective. I think it still has at least a couple interesting ideas so it may still be worth your time to play!

I love this concept a lot! I think the added feature of limiting the player's view to keeping the cat is a really interesting mechanic that could be used to set up interesting problems. The sound design was a little loud for me, I was a little startled by the first projectile I shot haha.
Having a tutorial area to let the player get used to the mechanics a safe distance from enemies was also a great move. All in all, a really interesting game, nice work!
